Richard Holliday is a senior vice president for business development and intellectual property for Bodle Technologies.
Holliday has worked in the metals field during his career, including as director of technology for the World Gold Council. He joined the World Gold Council in 2001, and led the technology sector, the remit of which includes research aimed at uncovering new technological and industrial uses for gold, as well as initiatives to protect the use of gold in the electronics industry.
Prior to joining the World Gold Council, Holliday was principal engineer at Land Rover Design and Engineering, responsible for advanced materials and manufacturing technologies in new vehicles.
He is a regular speaker at international conferences relating to the industrial uses of gold.
A chartered engineer and scientist, Holliday has a doctorate in materials engineering from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, where he recently served on Council.
