Patrick J. Catania is chief executive of Asia West Group, a consulting company.

He had a long career at the Chicago Board of Trade and has worked with INTEX Burmuda, CME, the University of Illinois, the University of Wisconsin, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Kent State University.

Catania formed the Asia West Group in 2002 after retiring from the CBOT. Asia Pacific specializes in financial market education and marketing.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and quantitative methods, and a masters degree in accountancy and international business.
