Kurt M. Johnson
Johnson was born and raised in Chicago, but his futures career began in California when he became a broker with Delong International in 1986.
He moved into radio in 1987 when he became the voice of commodities for K-MNY radio in Los Angeles, an all-financial station.
Johnson founded Sinclair Futures in Sacramento, California in 1989, and then merged that company into Chicago based O’Brien Investment Services in 1994.
From 1994 to 2002, Johnson was with R.J. O'Brien & Associates as managing director.
Johnson is fluent in Russian. He currently serves on the Introducing Broker Relations Committee at the National Futures Association.
Johnson holds a bachelor of science in political science with a minor in Russian studies from Illinois State University.
