John L. Jacobs
John L. Jacobs is a member of the tZERO board of directors, which he joined in September 2020. He also serves as chairman of Alerian, founder and CEO of Q3 Advisors, LLC, board member of ProCure Funds and US Bank LiFT Board, and executive director of the Center for Financial Markets and Policy. [1] Jacobs was formerly executive vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO) of Nasdaq. He was responsible for Nasdaq's financial products business strategy, including the development of new products and product licensing in the U.S. and abroad. Under his direction, Nasdaq launched the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock. Nasdaq Global Funds has launched over 400 products based on Nasdaq Indices in more than 25 countries. BackgroundJacobs has taught investment banking and other graduate courses in the MBA programs at both Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University. EducationJacobs earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola. He is a certified public accountant (CPA).[2] References
