Edward J. Resch
Edward J. Resch is the former executive vice president and CFO of State Street Corporation. He retired from the company in 2013. His intention to retire was announced in November of 2012, only months after a report said that the custody bank's largest investors wanted to oust Resch or the company's chief executive Jay Hooley.
Before joining State Street in 2002, Resch was chief financial officer of Pershing, a Credit Suisse First Boston subsidiary. Previous to that, he was managing director and chief accounting officer of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc., and chief financial and administrative officer of that firm's capital markets group. He also served as controller of Salomon Brothers in New York and worked for Price Waterhouse and Procter & Gamble.
Resch holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Rutgers University.
