Clare Fraser is a strategy professional. Most recently, she was managing director of strategy for Omgeo LLC, a joint venture between The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and Thomson Reuters automating post-trade life cycle events between 6,500 financial services firms in 52 countries.

Background

In her role at Omgeo, Fraser responsibilities include driving Omgeo’s five year strategy, identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships and entrenching the Omgeo brand across asset classes, client segments and new markets. She also oversees the global marketing function.

Prior to joining Omgoe, Fraser was global head of strategy for HSBC Securities Services in London. Among here duties there she handled mergers and acquisition opportunities.

She also spent some time in Hong Kong, where she helped develop strategic direction for HSS in Asia.

Before HSBC, Fraser served as a consultant with the European Commission.

Fraser has also held investment banking roles with Credit Suisse First Boston in Hong Kong and Macquarie Bank in Sydney.

Awards

Fraser was honored as a Rising Star in Traders Magazine's Wall Street Women Awards in 2013.[1]

Education

Fraser holds a masters of business administration from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium. She also holds a bachelor of law (Hons) and a bachelor of economics from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
