Christian Katz is the former chief executive of SIX Swiss Exchange. He took over that position in May of 2009 and left in April of 2015.[1] [2]

SIX Group, SIX Swiss's parent company, said Katz had decided to leave because of a difference of opinion on strategy.[3]

He is president of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE). He was elected unanimously to that position by the FESE general assumbly on November 20, 2013.[4] [5]

Background

Before joining the SIX Swiss Exchange, Katz ran institutional equity sales to Swiss clients for Goldman Sachs in Switzerland for three years.
