Anna Ewing is the executive vice president and chief information officer at Nasdaq OMX. She is responsible for global software development, global IT services and market technology. [1]

Background

Ewing has 25 years of experience with financial services technology. She led a team that re-platformed Nasdaq's technology after the acquisitions of the Boston Exchange and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. She also played a role in launching a multi-lateral trading facility in London and prepared the Nordic markets for their move to the INET platform after the acquisition of OMX.

Prior to joining Nasdaq, Ewing was the managing director of global application services at CIBC World Markets in New York and Toronto as well as a founding member of CIBC.com. Before that, she served as vice president at Merrill Lynch.

Education

Ewing graduated from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.
